Sony (MHC-V02) does not perform Cold reset

How long does a cold reset takes place? My SONY MHC-V02 does not continue COLD reset process. What should be the problem?

It does affect my Audio IN also. It does not recognize the audio. I cannot perform the factory reset as well.
