JVC TV

Can any one advise what i should be looking at on the power board. it is a JVC TV using a AY042D-ISF67 power supply which keeps switching off.

This has happed after a thunder storm , when i switch it on all works perfectly well, but then switches off after about two minutes

I just posted the schematic. Check if the 12V is correct. IC U2 type is not given hence I am not sure about the role of Q2. Look for burnt components (e.g. R26 resistors), replace C1. Be extremely careful: always disconnect the power cable and wait that C1 is discharged. Energy stored in C1 is enough to be deadly in case of touching it.
